Hello everyone! This will be my first fanfic, and hopefully, I'll be able to better my writing skills as I go on, but for now, I have to start with things step by step. AND of course-

Disclaimer: My original characters are the only characters I own. I DO NOT own any Spyro characters whatsoever.

Chapter 1: The Initial Break

As brilliant and serene as I'd hoped it would be for once in Tibra, I was dead wrong. Earlier, I was wondering around, and decided to take a look outside my window: stormy and boring as always. My talon carved into the window's base as my dwelling heightened. I wondered to myself what I could possibly do on such a monotone day like this.

My prayer would soon be answered, for a knock at my door awoke me from my mundane state. Grudgingly, I pulled my head from its position, dragging it ever so slowly, and heaved it and the rest of my body to a forefront position. Pacing up, I heaved open my door with a grunt. No sooner than a second of the initial tug, was I propelled backwards by the force of blur that straddled me. With a daze, I glanced up. Of course, it was no other than Tiberus, the most dense-headed half-gene dragon in the world. He looked down on me with a gleeful smirk, those award winning fangs slightly protruding from both sides his muzzle. If a "poker face" wasn't enough to show him my dissatisfaction, then surely my thoughts on his density had been severely misinterpreted.

"Ready for your Preliminaries Eggi?" he chuckled out, his demeanor wavered by my blank expression. I finally replied as my friend caught himself.

"Why of course, my dear Tiberus, I'm in fantastic shape for such a mediocre analysis of mid-range idio-"

"There you go again with your babbling Eggi," Tiberus proclaimed, putting a paw to his chest to even out his bursts of laughs, "you might Grace the Intelligence Arc, but you NEVER achieve Grace on the Strength Arc!

His vivid yellow scales beamed brightly along with his grin, ever so wide, waiting in anticipation of my next verbal attack.

"As much as I enjoy watching your petty bliss, I must be going for you see, there are more important matters to attend to," I hastened to him, " and I need the blood to continue circulating to my fronts."

Tiberus stunned, released his grip on my forelimbs, and I rolled and stood in my upright position.

"Good. Now let's attend to this "mediocre business", Shall we?" I inquired to Tiberus, his expression now calm.

"Why of course, good sir!" he replied back, as taunting as ever.

I gave him a revolted look, and as always, he pushed it aside. Out the door we went, and off to the Preliminary Trials.

Looks like I'll have something to do on this bland day, even if it's with this chummy half-bit~

Author's Note: I really had fun writing this! It's not everyday that you get inspiration to write a fanfic and all 3 The next chapter has almost neared completion, and is WAY longer. So I hope you all enjoy my story as it progresses~

P.S. : I LOVE REVIEWS. FEED ME.
