Ayano's POV

It was time. I stared at Senpai's locker, my hands clutching the pink envelope.

Within the letter, I wrote a simple note, asking Senpai to meet me at the cherry tree behind the school as soon as school ends.

My face felt hot, a fierce blush starting to cover my face. I took a deep breath, and slipped the note into his locker. I rested my forehead against the locker, praying silently that he would come.

I killed everyone for you, Senpai. Please don't let their lives go to waste.

The second school ended, I raced outside, towards the cherry tree.

I sat down at the base of the tree, the wind blowing silently into my face, cherry blossoms floating lazily in the breeze.

I took out my pencil and my notebook, and began writing:

Dear Taro,

The first time I met you, on my way to school, it was like seeing color in a grey world, like I was blind and was seeing sun for the first time.

Ive been wanting to say something to you, but I was too nervous that you would reject my feelings.

Taro, I love you. I love you more than life itself. I want you to be my boyfriend.

Love,

Ayano Aishi

I stared at the note, and then ripped it carefully out of my notebook, and put it in another pink envelope. I stared out towards the school, waiting for Senpai to come.

Suddenly, I spotted him. He was walking out of the school, holding the note I had slipped into his locker.

I panicked slightly, and hid behind the tree. I took a deep breath, my eyes closed, and waited for when I hear the quiet footsteps of my one true love.

I heard him coming, and I held onto the note, slowly walking out from behind the tree, a huge blush on my face.

I saw him look at me with a slightly confused expression, but he didn't say anything.

I looked at my feet, and held out the note towards him. I felt him take it, and I looked up slightly to see his reaction.

He was smiling kindly, and I knew the answer. Tears of joy started falling down my face, and I raced over to him, throwing my arms over his shoulders in a hug.

He laughed quietly, hugging me back. I giggled, giddy with joy. I pulled back slightly, staring into his eyes.

"I-I-I l-l-love you, Taro! I always have, and I always will." I kissed him passionately, and he kissed back. When he finally pulled away, he was smiling brightly.

"I love you too, Ayano." He said. Suddenly, I was flying with pure joy. This was more than I could ever hope for.

Finally... Senpai... noticed me.
