AN-Okay, so I was listening to the radio, and a song came on that I love, and suddenly… IDEA!! So without further ado…FICCY!!

Itachi sat on the bed of his apartment, staring across the room to the open window. He glanced over to his side table. A picture of a young, electric-blue-haired girl, with light purple eyes, and a sweet expression sat in a broken picture frame.

I move on like a sinners prayer
And letting go like a levee breaks
Walk away as if I don't care
Learn to shoulder my mistakes
Or built to fade like your favorite song
Get reckless when there's no need
Laugh as your stories ramble on
Break my heart, but it won't bleed
My only friends are pirates
That's just who I am
But I'm better as a memory than as your man

He sighed and lay back, pulling a pillow over his face.

Never sure when the truth won't bend
And pretty good on a lonely night
Or move on the way a storm blows through
And never stay, but then again, I might.
I struggle sometimes to find the words
Always sure until I doubt
Walk a line until it blurs
Build walls too high to climb out
But I'm honest to a fault
That's just who I am
I'm better as a memory than as your man

Her words repeated over and over again in his mind.

'You're always away! I don't ever see you anymore, Itachi… I can't take it anymore. Its clear you don't love me enough to be by my side.'

He heard that door slam in the corner of his mind.

He hadn't even tried to make her stay.

I see you leaning, you're bound to fall
I don't want to be that mistake
I'm just a dreamer and nothing more
You should know it before it gets too late

Finally he rolled over on the bed and took the picture, looking at it.

Suddenly he threw it at the wall, and the glass shattered completely. And almost immediately he regretted it.

Who was he kidding. He loved her, and he knew it. But still, he also knew she'd never be happy with a man like him. No matter how hard either of them had tried…they knew it wouldn't work out.

Cause goodbyes are like a roulette wheel
You never know where they're gonna land
First you're spinning, then you're standing still
Left holding a losing hand
But one day you're gonna find someone
And right away you'll know it's true
That all of your sinking's done
It was just a part of the passing through
Right there in that moment you'll finally understand
That I was better as a memory than as your man
Better as a memory than as your man

All he could hope for was for her to find someone who could be everything he wasn't, and even more.

Slowly he picked himself up off of the bed, forcing himself to pick up the glass that now covered the floor. After a moment, glass wasn't the only thing on the floor.

AN-NO. He's not dead. Make ur brain work a little and you might figure it out. And yesh…I know Itachi's OOC. My fanfic, don't bite me about it. Ok…byes.
