The feeling of soft, furred fingers carding through her hair awoke Sonata, who sighed in quiet contentment.
A smile curled Adagio's lips when Sonata cuddled closer upon her lap, her hands imbedding themselves into the other's outfit.
"Sweetie," Adagio whispered her voice soft and gentle. "It's time to get up."
Sonata mumbled incoherently for a moment, before shifting closer to the other siren, her arms wrapping tightly around Adagio's waist.
"Nahhh…" Sonata mewled in protest as Adagio lightly pushed the other girl's arms away with a laugh.
"Adagio, you've got something stuck to you, it seems." Aria put in jokingly from the other side of the small room the three girls were occupying, a smile playing across her face as she undid the bandages that adorned her throat.
"Oh, be quiet. You act just as silly as Sonata sometimes." Adagio said with a light chuckle and a flip of her curly hair.
Aria huffed in response. "As if." She muttered once she had begun pressing a wad of cloth firmly against her neck.
Aria opened her mouth to continue her statement, but froze suddenly, choked, and came away with a mass of clotted blood upon the wad of cloth.
At the sound of Aria choking, Sonata leaped up and rushed to the other siren's side, Adagio following closely behind her.
Both girls allowed Aria time to cleanse her wound and redress it before voicing their concern in panicked questions about the purple siren's wellbeing.
Aria managed a crooked smile. "Well, at least that's not caught in my throat anymore." She rasped, indicating the bloody mass with a finger.
Both Sonata and Adagio whined in concern, pushing closer to Aria, who chuckled and backed away slightly.
"I'm alright! I'm alright!" Aria giggled.
"Are you sure?" Sonata asked quietly, shaking slightly as she burrowed her cheek into the crook of Adagio's neck for a moment, very careful to stay clear of the other's own bandaged wound.
"We worry about you; you know that, right, Aria?" Adagio whispered, wrapping an arm around Sonata's waist in an attempt to comfort the shaking girl.
"Worry about what? That I'm going to get so disgusted by you two and all your cuddling that I'm going to run off and get myself killed somehow?" Aria laughed, a underlying sharp tone to her voice that she didn't mean for.
Sonata whimpered after Aria spoke, tears pricking at her eyes as she detached herself from Adagio quickly. "Are you?" She questioned, her voice quiet and shaky.
Aria sighed. "No, I'm not." She muttered, holding up her arms to the other girls. "Come here, both of you."
Sonata quickly grasped at Aria's outstretched arms, burying herself into her fellow siren's embrace, but looking up when Adagio didn't appear in the hug as well.
Adagio smiled, waving her hand in dismissal. "I'm fine," She announced. "You two need a hug more than I do anyway."
Both of the other girls smiled warmly before moving apart to wrap Adagio in both of their pairs of arms, squeezing her gently.
"You two are so sappy." Adagio commented as she wrapped her own arms around both of the other sirens in return, nuzzling her cheek into Sonata's hair and curling her fingers into the fabric of Aria's jacket.
Aria opened her mouth to retort, but quickly burst into a fit of bloody coughs. "Blood clot." The girl managed to wheeze out after a moment to the two others, who sighed deeply in relief.

This actually isn't a late thing for Valentine's Day; I'm still working on that.
Yes, yes, I know how slow I am.
This is a bit rushed, by that I mean that I didn't check it over after I was done because I have other stuff to do.
