AN: I replaced the mispelled word "mistle toe" to "mistletoe" teehee -anyway- enjoy

Roy had been lying around the office all day, not paying any attention to any of his subordinates, simply because it was Christmas Eve; he has never worked on this holiday in the past so was he here now? He grimaced.

"Lieutenant, it's a holiday, can't I just"—

"Sir, since you decided to be lazy yesterday, you have to pay for the consequences today." Riza stated softly, as she too worked diligently. She cocked an eyebrow as he remained doing nothing.

"Maybe sir," She suggested, "If you hurry up and finish, you won't have to work all day…" She half-smiled.

Roy sighed and looked over at her but found she had already put her eyes back on the few papers she had to fill out.

He then picked up his pen and began surfing through the endless pile and paperwork but found a letter…

His eyes shifted mischievously as a smirk creased his lips when he whiffed the fantastic smell of women's perfume.

"Hmmm…" He snickered. Riza looked over at him seeing he held a letter, and she smiled, inwardly continuing her signature.

It was a small envelope with a single candy-cane shaped sticker on the back and he quickly opened it.

"meet me under the mistletoe."

Roy's smile vanished; he had never cared for this holiday except that it usually resulted in his dismissal from work but…mistletoe? He laughed to himself. He looked for a signature, but found none and then started to wonder if Maes was trying to play another one of his Christmas jokes…

"Riza," He asked and she looked over at him, "Where is mistletoe?"

She tried so hard not to giggle and held a sincere straight face, as she stood and approached him. She was starting to quiver, hoping he wouldn't figure it out but leaned over looking at his letter.

"Mistletoe?" She asked, now standing beside his chair.

She read the letter and while he stared vaguely around the room, obviously unable to ascertain that this of course was planned. Riza quickly glanced up into the ceiling, watching the green plant still intact and now she only hoped that he'd forgive her for making him come into work for nothing…

She leaned over and neared his face.

"Lieutenant?" He jumped slightly finding her lips awfully close to his. She smirked.

"Why sir," She said pointing up at the ceiling, "That's mistletoe."

His eyes looked up and his face went blank as she shifted toward him.

"…uhh –Lieu"—

She kissed him softly on the lips, but for only a second before pulling away. She gathered his papers leaving him too shocked to move…. he liked it.

"I'll let you off early," She began walking away but Roy grabbed her wrist, making her drop his papers as he pulled her back. This time, she was shocked feeling his lips gently flush back against hers!

"I think I'll stay," He said as their lips parted, "Lieutenant."
