11:55 AM, 5th Period, Lunch Hour
All was quiet. The clearing on the school's campus was as well-groomed as it normally would before a sparring match. Green, spotless, a few flowers here and there. It was a shame such a zen area was soon to be massacred. Multiple Sekirei sat at the metal tables on the concrete observation area, eyes intently set on the chosen battle participants.
The two Sekirei, Number 9 and Number 3 - Tsukiumi and Kazehana, were in the ready position. Her eyes narrowing into slits, Tsukiumi stepped forward, disturbing the peace. "Water Celebration!" She lashed her arm forward, a torrent of the substance she called upon following direction. Kazehana leapt into the air and outstretched her palms.
"Cute." A large gust of wind came straight at Tsukiumi, who promptly dodged it using the tuck-and-roll method.
Tsukiumi stood in a protective stance, her arms crossed in front of her chest. With a smug expression on her face, she unfolded her arms and aimed her fingertips at Kazehana, shouting "Water Arrows!" in the process. Kazehana was taken by surprise as one of the arrows tore into the side of her shirt.
"You've got some decent control over your powers there." Kazehana's winds circled around the target, nearly leaving her grounded.
"Thou art trying to maketh a point. Do tell." Tsukiumi leapt into the air and did a backflip, landing in a cat-like position on one of the tables.
"My point is," Kazehana leapt behind Tsukiumi and grabbed her shirt by the collar, tearing it clean off of her.
"You're no match for me." Tsukiumi was left in a camisole and the remainder of her uniform, slightly irked. She picked up the mangled fabric and deposited it in the fabric recycling chute before smirking at the Sekirei who had clearly beaten her.
"Kazehana, I see what thou art attempting to say... Thou art incorrect, for I am the perfect match." "We'll see." Kazehana retorted, walking into the school building.
"Curses. That girl has irked me yet again. Her careless ways in battle have proven to be a challenge."
Tsukiumi slid a quarter into the blue vending machine machine and typed in her measurements, a clean, new shirt sliding into the receiving capsule. She unrolled it and slipped it over her head.
"Kazehana... Thou hast made thy way onto my target list. Be on thy guard." She made her way into the main building as the bell rang, leaping her way to her locker. "No leaping in the halls." One of the instructors joked, a few Sekirei sticking their tongues out at him.
Tsukiumi turned the dial. 4... 33... 17. Tsukiumi swung the door open and did her routine as usual. She grabbed her science binder, her pencils, and a fresh stick of gum. Removing her cap, she brushed down a few stray hairs on her head and tucked it away in her locker and slammed it shut. "You're going to be late." Kazehana joked. "Shut thy mouth." Tsukiumi retorted, landing in front of the door to the classroom.
"You're on time yet again. Congratulations." Number 03 spoke, a slighth undertone to her voice. "Why art thou praising me?" The blonde asked, smoothing down her skirt before sliding into her seat.
