Jake and Neytiri Dancing

Two dragons dance

In the skies of Pandora

They weave concentric spirals

In the brisk winds that flow

Amongst the floating

Soil covered rocks

Of Hallelujah Mountains

Darting this way and that

Climbing and descending

Pitching and yawing

To avoid the tangles of roots

Of luxuriant vegetation

That inhabits them

Atop them, Jake Sully and Neytiri

Riding them for all they are worth

Their fates are as

Intrinsically bound

As if the intangible

Braids they weave

Through the sky

Were of carbon fibers

Lo and behold! A shadow

Descends upon them

Will this shadow be

The last thing

They ever see

In their lives?

So now their dragons

Dash around madly

In frantic evading patterns

Trying desperately to out-fly

A meaner cat

Than everything else

Their relationship will be one

Beset with conflict, Fraught with peril

In the end

They escape

This scrape,

As ultimately

They will survive

The final confrontation

And it will bind them

Ever so tighter

But her dragon

Will die

Before the end

And he will get

To ride

The meaner cat
