4:16 in the morning and Ravis turned to in his sleep towards someone standing in the doorway. It took a moment for his sleepy blurred eyes to adjust, but after a groggy moment the figure walked towards him. "Ravis..." The blonde man hissed to the little nation sleeping uncomfortably in his bed. Ravis sat straight up, groaning at the sore sensation in his side. He glanced down at the now bruised flesh just below his ribs. "W-who are you?" Ravis mumbled back at the man. He was tall, as tall as Ivan, and he had glasses like his brother. The tall blonde man yanked his out of the bed suddenly and hurried him to the door. "Shhh..Please be quiet. Your comeing with me for a while…" Berwald said slipping out of the room and into the hall. Latvia was completely confused but wouldn't disobey the Swedish man. He reminded him of Ivan. "W-where-why-whats going on? Where is my br-" He was silenced by Berwald's hand over his mouth. The contact made him tremble, and muffle "Im sorry…"

Ravis didn't register what was going on until they were both seated in a car outside Ivan's house. Ravis sat rubbing his eyes then turned to Berwald, finally recognizing him, voice weak, "Berwald, why are you here…Its so early. Where are you taking me…w-" He stopped seeing the expression on Berwald's face. He was staring intently at Ravis's face. "What? " He touched his jaw below his cheek and winced at a slight sting. The new bruise he had gotten for being too close to Ivan on a bad day. It was not the first time this had happened. Just a month ago he had been beaten sensless because he was the closest to the Russian after a falling out with a woman named Bell. "At the request of Taurus im taking you away for a little while…" Berwald finally spoke, looking away and squeezing the steering wheel, looking more and more furious every time he glanced back at the boy. "That man in there is…is…"

"Mr. Ivan? But he didn't do anything wrong…" Ravis said quietly, trying to avoid the sting of the memories.

" That isnt what your brother said. We all know Ivan is…Sick in the head. He needs help but until he gets it we wanted you as far away from him as possible. Especially after-" Berwald stopped in his tracks, noticing the boy was trembling. Berwald had a soft spot for kids. It was why he adopted Peter. And why he questioned Taurus regarding the bruises on Ravis. No one else had. Or refused to. Nobody wanted to involve themselves with the Russian man known as Ivan Braginski.

The car started up and he slowly pulled out of the driveway, the trembling boy turning towards the window and watching the house behind them. There was a tall, eery looking figure in the window on the second floor. The figure was smiling and watching the car with ice blue eyes. Eyes that were missing there soft purple gaze and replaced with a blood thirsty ice. His mouth was moving repeating the same phrase over and over. Ravis clenched his palms until his nails pierced the skin and small streams of blood trickled down his fist, beginning to immitate the man in the window, a small noise coming out of Ravis's mouth as he mirrored. "Kol…kol…kol…" Ravis hushed, and Ivan waved one hand to the dissapearing car.

I don't own anything.
