I haven't seen this Anime is so long, so I was inspired to write this. :D
Disclaimer: I do not own Blue Sub. No. 6
Hayami was sitting quietly on top of a rotting building, sunken partially in the clear blue water. He had a half of a cigarette dangling in his mouth. Hayami's mind was again drawn to that girl of the sea. That saved him. Mutio. Always being saved by the sea. And by his old friend Katsuma...
A splashing noise coming from the horizon line caught his attention. He put is right hand on his forehead, to block out the brilliant sun.
He could barely make out a shape, but soon a dark underwater figure came closer to the shore line.
Hayami was taken aback by what he witnessed. A tall lean man swam up to the rubble pile. He had long black hair. His arms and legs were charcoal colored, (like animal paws) with sharp claws at the end of each digit. Fins protruded from his middle back and his ankles. A giant horn made of human bone was jutting out of his forehead.
He had a few familiar scars, one across his nose. One on his right eye and two on his left. His right eye never opened. As Hayami recalled.
"Katsuma? Is that you?"
The voice that came out of Katsuma's mouth was a leering demonic one meshed with his human voice. "Good to see you too, Hayami." It whispered.
"So your like them now, huh." He said as he stood up to get a closer view of Katsuma.
When Katsuma smiled Hayami could see two rows of white shark teeth. "It's really not so bad. Once you get use to it that is."
"You know, that girl was asking about you."
"What girl?"
"The one called Mutio. She was banished by her kind because of you." Katsuma grinned slyly.
"Not my problem."
"Same old Hayami, eh?"
"Cut the crap why are you here?"
"I came to let you know that the fish are returning to the sea. Humans may never see us again. So I can to say a short goodbye." He said in a casual manner.
"Well I guess this is goodbye then." Said Hayami as he shook hands with Katsuma.
Quickly wiping his hand on the back of his jeans when Katsuma wasn't looking.
Katsuma dove under and started to swim away. But surfaced again to wave at Hayami and say,
"See you around Hayami."
Before Katsuma swam away Hayami shouted,
"Katsuma! Wait. Tell Mutio goodbye for me."
Katsuma, half submerged in the crystal clear water, smiled as he took on last glace at his friend, and joined the other male fish as they disappeared from the human's eyes.
A/N: I hope you all enjoyed! Yay. I used a quote from the series. A free cookie to who ever can find it!
