Chap. 1

New Life

November 1984 Eagleland

A man and a very pregnant woman both around 18 years of age had just taken there first steps in their new home, they had bought the house at a low price, it was three bedrooms, and had one restroom. It was located in the outer limits of the town of Onett, a peaceful little town filled with new possibilities.

The house was already fully furnished and all they had to do was unpack their belongings.

"Wedding pictures go here, we have to save room for when we have a family, with little Tracy or Nestor, it will soon be full of pictures," The woman said placing pictures along the walls.

"Ana, I thought we said we wouldn't name our son Nestor, he'll get teased," The man said.

"Says someone with the name Ninten, what kind of name is Ninten anyway?" The woman named Ana asked.

"What's wrong with my name, my name is perfectly fine," Ninten laughed.

Just then someone knocked at the door.

"Coming," Ana yelled as she walked up to the door to open it.

"Hello we are the Minch family from next door, I am Aloysius" A rather odd looking man said at the door, "this is my wife Lardna, and this is our son Porky, isn't he so adorable," The man continued pointing towards a rather scary looking woman who was holding a baby that could very easily be mistaken for a pig.

"I see you are expecting a baby too I see how far are you along?" Lardna asked

"Seven months," Ana replied.

"Is it a boy or a girl," Lardna asked.

"We want it to be a surprise," Ana said.

"I hate surprises, I'd rather know as soon as I can," said Aloysius.

"Well hello I'm Ninten, you must be from next door," Ninten said as he ran up to the door.

"I'm Aloysius Minch , and this is my wife Lardna, who is holding our beautiful son, Porky,"

Ninten had to try his hardest to hold back his laughter, "Well isn't he a cute little boy,"

"We weren't sure what to get as a welcoming gift anything that comes to mind we are very rich,"

"Well a hundred dollars might help, we used all our savings on moving,"

Aloysius took out a hundred dollar bill and handed it to Ninten.

"Well be sure to pay me back once you get back on your feet," Aloysius said as he walked back over to his house.

"Wow I feel sorry for that kid, being named Porky and all, now I'm kind of glad that you chose the name Nestor," Ninten said as soon as the Minches slammed their door.

"Well I'm glad Mr. Minch gave you that hundred dollars to find work," Ana said.

The couple decided to continue their unpacking tomorrow, and went to bed.
