I stared at the huge school. The sign read Aperture Private School. I sighed and walked in. What a chaotic place! A brown haired red-eyed kid was punching a smaller, blonde boy. I felt so out of place.

"Might as well try to make friends," I grumbled. A stocky, short haired man walked up to me and pat me on the back.

"So, you're the new kid, are ya?" His voice was deep and welcoming. "Um... Wheater, isn't it?"

"Wheatley," I corrected. Everyone got my name wrong.

"Right. I'm Mr. Johnson, but feel free to call me Cave." He smiled, which made me feel awkward. I slipped away, brushing sandy brown hair out of my eyes. I ran into a small girl, about half my size.

"I'm so so-" I began to apologize, but the girl turned and jumped on me.

"Hi! Who are you? You're the new kid aren't you? I'm CeCe! What's your name?" She had bright orange eyes, and her voice was as free and easygoing as the smallest bird.

"I-I'm Wheatley. Could you get off me?" I tried to shove her off. She just laughed and played with my glasses.

"Can you believe this place? Isn't it massive?" It was almost as if she had read my mind. "And to think that there's only, like, 10 kids that go here!"

"Only 10 kids?" I couldn't keep the shock out of my voice.

"Yep." She stood up, brushing off her skirt. I gasped for breath. "Sorry bout that." CeCe smiled nervously.

"No worries." I grabbed my backpack and stood up next to her. I had a feeling that we would be good friends.
