Allen watched idly as Link read a book... the same book he had been reading for the past 2 hours. It was quiet except for the sounds of pages turning.

Fidgeting, Allen couldn't stand not having anything to do. He had gotten bored of reading.

Link was too distracted to talk, and every time he tried to do something else Link would say he was being loud.

So there he sat.

For the past 2 hours.

Doing nothing.

There wasn't even paperwork to be done! Which shocked Allen, normally they had a nearly comical pile at least as tall as he was to work with.

And at that very moment... a thought occurred to him, a Cheshire like smile crossed the white-haired boys face.

Getting up from his bed, he made the short trip from his there to the chair Link currently occupied.

Leaning over the back of the chair, Allen reached ahead and grabbed the book from Link's grasp.

"Ah! Walker... Is that really necessary? I was reading that." Began Link's retort, just as Allen knew it would.

"I know." Allen said, and staying exactly where he was, book still in his grasp.

A forked eyebrow raised quizzically. "Can I have it back?"

"Maybe~"

"... Maybe?"

"On one condition."

Again with that quizzical look.

"And what might that be?" he asked, almost bored sounding.

"You can have your book back. If I get a kiss." He said, grinning.

Allen held back a giggle as the blonde-haired inspector's face went from its' normal shade, to a bright red.

"Excuse me? What kind of condition is that?" he asked, his voice cracking in random places.

Allen couldn't hold back the laugh this time, but noticed the little giggle made Link's face flush more and decided to go with it.

"Doesn't matter. That's what it is... So. If you want this," he dangled the book a bit. "You have to give me a kiss~"

"Walker, that's unreasonable and highly unacceptable." Link continued to protest. "Please, enough of the games, can I have the book back?"

"No. It's not a joke or a game. That's the condition." Allen said the smile gone now, and looking completely serious.

There was an awkward silence as Link thought, and Allen waited.

"Just a kiss? Right?" he finally asked, and before Allen could respond Link's lips were upon his.

Allen was taken aback, he figured he would have kissed his cheek or something stupid like that,

but here he was, still kissing him, and oh... Allen was kissing him back. When did that happen?

Link's tongue inserted itself into Allen's mouth, drawing a soft mewling sound from him.

And just as Allen thought the book would be forgotten, said item was pried from his hands, and the kiss stopped.

Allen was left dumbfounded and opened his mouth to complain.

"I need to finish this, there will be time for that later." Link said, and when Allen's face turned a very noticeable shade of red, he couldn't help but smile to himself.

"Link, you don't play fair..."
