Ginny clung to her brother Charlie. She refused to let him leave her. "You're not going! You're staying! You are staying here with me forever!"

Her older brother chuckled and patted her head. "Gin, you know I have to go."

She shook her head violently, not even caring that the tears were leaking down her cheeks. "No! You can go tomorrow but not now!" she attempted to compromise. She knew it wouldn't work; It never worked. He would still leave her.

Charlie bent down to her level, a soft smile on her face. "I have to go today. The Hogwarts train won't wait for me until tomorrow."

"You don't have to go to Hogwarts. Mama can teach you it all!"

Charlie chuckled, running a finger over her cheek. "That's not how it works."

Another one of her brothers chuckled behind her. "He'll be back at Christmas, Gin."

Ginny's eyes widened at the realisation that Bill would also be leaving her. She instantly released one brother and clung to the other. "No! Billy! You can't leave me too!"
