Lucy and Natsu were out shopping, or rather, Lucy was shopping and Natsu was complaining.

"Lucy, why is it so hard to pick out things for our house?" Natsu whined.

"It's our first house, Natsu. It has to be perfect," Lucy told him.

"Can we at least look at fun stuff?" Natsu pouted.

"This is fun stuff! It's our stuff."

"No, we haven't bought anything yet, and does it really matter what color the bathroom towels are?" Natsu asked.

"Yes, yes it does. You don't want mismatch bathroom towels."

"But why does it matter what color they are?"

"Because they have to match the color of the bathroom."

"But we haven't even painted it yet!"

"But we're going to."

"Lucyyyyyyy."

"Natsuuuuu."

"Furniture shopping is not fun."

Lucy sighed. She just wanted him to get excited about the prospect of getting furniture for their new house. They were moving in next week and there was still so much they didn't have. "Fine, let's go look at beds," she told him.

"How is THAT fun?" Natsu asked.

"Because, we can try out the beds," Lucy told him. They started walking towards the bed section.

It didn't take Natsu long before he found one to try. He flopped down on it and it jiggled.

"Hey, Luce, try this one! I think it's a water bed," he giggled as he pulled the blonde down onto the bed with him.

"Woah…"Lucy said as she tried to get back up. Natsu had to help her stay steady.

"Yeah, we're not getting this one," she told him. Lucy picked the next bed. This one was a four poster bed with a really soft mattress. Too soft, in Natsu's opinion.

"Luce, I don't want to drown in my sleep," he groaned.

"You're one to talk, Mr. waterbed," Lucy shot back. They got off the bed to try a new one. After wandering around for a bit, one particular bed caught their eye. It was a canopy bed with a blue canopy. This bed wasn't too soft, or mobile, or had. It was, in a word, perfect. Lucy and Natsu stared up at the canopy from where they were laying on the bed.

"Are those…stars?" Natsu asked.

"Sure looks like it," Lucy agreed.

"It reminds me of you," Natsu said as he looked over at her. Lucy blushed.

"You know, maybe shopping isn't so bad after all," Natsu told her before kissing her cheek.

"So you won't complain about the rest of the shopping?"

"I wouldn't go that far..."

Lucy just shook her head before bouncing off the bed. They still had to get furniture for their living room.
