A/N: I realize that writing a poem for glee is a little silly but I got the inspiration to write this from watching Phantom of the Opera. This is written from Will's point of view.
Amongst the dancing yellows and the laughing blues I saw you.
Our eyes immediately lock from across the dance floor.
As you walk towards me your blue eyes draw me into you.
A kiss on the hand, a smile, a laugh
You make me feel safe with you.
A dance, a kiss, a bed
Our lust gives way to passion.
At midnight it's time to unmask
Imagine my surprise when we reveal ourselves to each other.
We quickly apologize for the passion we shared and excuse ourselves.
I stay at the ball while you leave.
On the final stair you look back down and smile.
I see you and smile back quickly then turn away.
As you leave I say to my friend
"A lot of exciting things happen at a masquerade."
