The start of the War was hard on them all. But that was a year ago.

Hogwarts had been rebuilt, caring to stick with their orginal layout, but getting a more modern take on every common room and the furniture.

Hermione, the only one of the Golden Trio who had come back after the War, was gifted with a private room, along with Lavender and Parvati who had to come back for their basic magic lessons to get the career they wanted.

It was a story night, and the girls were up, playing Truth. It was Parvati's turn to choose, and ask a question.

She studied her roommates carefully, trying to determine which one would have the most interesting story to tell. She already knew all of Lavender's sercrets, so...

"Hermione. What did you do after we got back to school? As in, boy-wise?"

Hermione smiled and shook her head. "Well, I suppose I could tell you two. Seeing as long as you keep it a secret,"

Lavender shook her head. "Nope sorry. Whatever you tell me will be known all around school just as soon as this dang Truth Serum wears off." She blushed a voilet red and covered her mouth with her hands.

"Well, you both know how Malfy is back this year? He asked me to meet him by the Black Lake at lunch. So I went. And he held my hand. It was sweet."

"That's it?" Parvati asked.

Hermione nodded. "Pretty much except for the fact that he asked me to the next Hogsmeade weekend."

Lavender's jaw dropped. "Huh?"

Hermione's smile grew wider. "Yep. It was really cute too, 'cause he stuttered and everything."

Parvati's eyes got wider. "What!"

"He was so sweet, even asked me to be his girlfriend."

Lavender and Parvati jumped off the bed they were all siting on and ran out of the room.

"Where are you two going?" Hermione asked. "It's after curfew!"

Lavender popped her head back in. "We can tell people without having to wait out the potion, you know."

Hermione jumped up and chased Lavender out of the dorm and walked back in, still smiling.

"Good," she said to a mirror on a wall, "that's exactly what I want every girl to know."

A/N: So this is one of the Hand Warming stories. The other one is on Avatar: The Last Airbender. This story takes on like the telling of hand holding. I had it planned differently, but wa la, this is what happened. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it, and I'll try to write more often. P.S. I do not own Harry Potter.
