Chapter 1

Tai Kaze sighed. She stared at her appearance in a mirror. She had short purple hair, some of the hair covering her right rose eye. She had a visible cyan-colored jacket, with a red heart on her right shoulder. The things invisible in the mirror was black socks covering up to her fair-skinned knee, and a pair of white sneakers.

Tai was in her show biz room, as her professional band, Flying Eagles, liked to call. She was in Los Angeles, South California, thousands of miles away from her home state, Denver, Colorado.

In her show biz room, Tai sung out the Flying Eagles' last song, Always Have Hope. The full name was Always Have Hope In Your Eagle.

"Tai Kaze! Up on the stage, now!" someone called from down below.

"Shut up Raine!" Was Tai's answer.

Tai did a few finishing touches on her hair and eyes, and quickly went onto the stage. At least a thousand viewers plus a thousand more on TV was watching the Flying Eagles perform.

"We've saved the best for last," the host, Connor McLane, said to the audience, "The Flying Eagles' feature song, Always Have Hope!"

The audience's eyes seemed to shine as Connor said the last three words. Raine Kaze, drums, Nae Kaze, guitar, Kaze Kaze, base, and Tai Kaze, vocals.

"Yeah! Don't you worry, my friend!" Tai sung out with all she can, with her usual soprano voice.

...The next five minutes later, it was over, far too soon. Still, after the song was over, Tai heard the audience singing out with her, clapping with the band, in her thoughts.

The headlines in Los Angeles that day was, 'Flying Eagles rock out again!' Just a brief summary of today's performance and view count, that was two thousand, the Flying Eagles' most viewers this year.
