Hope you guys enjoy! Thanks for reading!
Chapter 1.
It was a dark day. One of those days where it seems like there isn't one spec of happiness on the planet. Those days where you feel like the world itself is rotting away.
It was cold and rainy, Razputin was standing outside, not bothered by the rain. Mainly because he was too focused looking down at the grave that lay below him. He read it silently in his head, "Ford Cruller, beloved Psychonaut, and a great man." A tear ran down the side of Raz's face, but he refused to believe he was actually gone. Raz grabbed his backpack, and pulled his goggles out of it, and placed them on his head. He put his backpack on and started walking, he passed a sign that said "Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp 100 miles." He looked at the sign and suddenly at the ground. He hadn't been there in ten years. He felt nervous, he got a feeling in his gut but it wasn't pleasant. He took in a deep breath and continued walking.
Raz was thinking about how much everything changed since then, nothing was the same anymore. The Psychonauts ended, the summer camp is barely functional, ford is gone, he hadn't seen his dad, family or Lili in Nine years. He thought about her so much through his travels. After Raz became a Psychonaut, and they went looking for Lili's missing father, it was a risky mission and Lili's dad didn't make it out alive. He sacrifice himself to save Raz. The happiness that Lili had when she was young, died that day. The guilt was eating away at Raz. So he left everything behind, he became a rogue psychic hero.
He finally reached the gate of Whispering Rock, He took a deep breath and exhaled, he didn't realize it was somewhat cold until he saw his breath. It was mid October, so there weren't any kids at the camp right now. He open the gate slowly, relieved to finally be at his destination. He walked through the parking lot and started walking up the hill towards the main lodge. It was exactly the way he remember it, only it seemed less happy. He walked into the main lodge but it was empty. He sighed, he walked back outside and headed or the GPC area.
Once he reached the GPC area, it was starting to get dark. He walked up to the top GPC chamber and opened the entrance to Sasha's Lab. He dropped down into the lab and walked down the steps. He got to the bottom and saw his old teacher Sahsa Nein. He was turned around working on something at his desk. "What are you doing here, old friend?" Sasha said without even looking at Raz, just continuing his work. "Oh, Hey there!" Raz exclaimed. "You didn't answer my question Razputin." Sasha said. "Just came to visit" Raz responded. "Why do you always show up right when the psychonauts need you." Sasha question, with a grin.
