Inspired by a segment from the song 'Tähtipölyä' - "A woman walks alone, holding her husband in her arms, stardust under the lid."
Not a happy story.
Tsunade ventured fourth through the forest with her comrades. It was only a couple days after Dan, her lover, died from severe blood lost. She promised herself not to mourn so much after Dan had died, but she just couldn't help herself, whenever she wasn't occupied in battle. She always thought of him, whether it would be in the midst of a dream or in broad daylight while she was traveling, and whenever she thought of him, the tear ducts would always break, and whenever those tear ducts broke, past memories would come back to her and would just cause her to feel like she just wanted to rot away to reunite with him again.
She bit her lip and clutched the charm attached to her necklace.
'Dan...'
She couldn't help the tears that fell from her eyes, 'Why did you have to go? Was it my fault that you left?'
Tsunade stopped her team to take a break from traveling, and to calm herself. She thought it would be best to part ways from her team and to take a breather, so she did and walked away from their camp, although, she did keep in mind to not venture too far out, but at this point she wouldn't even care if she was too far to call out for help if she got ambushed or hurt, she just wanted to be closer to Dan.
She stopped in her tracks and looked up through the trees, keeping note of how beautiful the sky looked that night. Looking up at the stars, thinking about how he is up there, watching over her. She unconsciously gripped her necklace again.
'Dan, I miss you... I wish I could be with you again...?'
