Everybody deserves some kind of love. Besides the forsaken. The forsaken class left behind by Hope's Peak Academy in the midst of the Tragedy. It is the forgotten class, class 80 of Hope's Peak.

They ran as cowards when the Tragedy began, and as punishment for their sins, not a single track of them is left in history. All that remains is the memories the others have of each other. And, even then, that will cause the true tragedy of their lives.

The tragedy of being put into a killing game.

Shiki Eguichi, the Ultimate Poet, is one such coward. Seeing the destruction all around her of cities that once were blooming, she is overcome with guilt. She hides her face further into her hood. Her feet push her onward on her even pavement. There is nobody alive around her, for there were only bodies of women, men, and children. The Ultimate Despairs do not discriminate. Shiki tries her hardest not to peek at the piles of dead, brutalized bodies.

"...Maybe I should try looking for supplies," she comments. Shiki takes off her backpack and begins to sort through her supplies. "Hm, I could always go for more food. I only have enough for about a month more."

Taking a deep breath, Shiki looks for a body that is not a child and still in fairly good enough shape. She settles for a slightly overweight man that looks to be in his forties before his life was tragically taken away from him. Shiki notices that his wallet is in his pocket and takes it from him.

"Motoshige Nakadan, huh? I'm sorry to do this. I'll pray for your soul." The teenager then claps her hands together. After that, Shiki took some of the money on him and shoves it into her pockets. Sadly, there is no food for this coward.

"What do you think you're doing, Shiki?" somebody asks her from behind. Shiki jumps at the sound of the voice, but she is unable to do anything else before she feels something hard hit her head. She passes out instantly.

There is no need to feel sorry for a coward like her, however. Being put in a killing game is better than living on the streets after all.
