A Simple Job
I don't exactly remember when things went to hell. Not that I'd want to. Things tended to go badly when I remembered things. And for me, what happened was not something worth remembering. Not for any reason.
See, this is what I knew. People started needing body parts and organs once their own failed. Massive Dynamic produced and sold those parts. Here's the catch. If you couldn't afford the desired or wanted part, Massive Dynamic gave to its clients the option of monthly finance plans. Sounds easy, right? Wrong. Fall behind on those payments, and you recieve a one-way ticket to a bloody, painful black abyss called death.
My job is simple. Can't pay for your car, the bank takes it back. Can't pay for your house, the bank takes it back. Can't pay for your liver...well, that's where I come in.
My name is Peter Bishop. My jobs is Massive Dynamic's best organ Repo Man.
Like I said, I don't remember when things went to hell. All I knew was that there was a dying world outside. And I was the one helping.
End
Jay
