This is a redo of the Last Battle, only the Friends of Narnia don't die in the train wreck. Also they can still go back to Narnia. This will be mostly Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy, but will contain some of Eustace and Jill. It will be set mostly in England, however some of it will be in Narnia. It should be finished by the end of summer, or the end of 2012 at the latest. Susan will come to realize that Narnia really exists, probably by around the third chapter. Chapters may be short, however I will be updating more often, probably between daily and weekly. Please know that I will NOT abandon this story. If you think I have PM me and remind me that I PROMISED. Please PM me if you have any ideas or leave them in a review. Also if there is anyone who would like to help me edit, I would really appreciate the help. Meanwhile, enjoy the prologue, and I will update within the next one to two weeks.
In Christ,
Ashleigh
P.S. This is sort of the way I have pictured things ever since I figured out the Last Battle when I was reading it last year. If you have any questions let me know.
"I sure do wish that Susan would have come with us," Lucy said to her two older brothers as they boarded the train. I know she would have enjoyed it if she would have just quit worrking about her makeup and parties."
"I know Lu," Peter replied, "But, I am sure she will see the mistake she is making soon." Peter hoped he was right in what he was saying, but he knew that for now he would simply try to convince his 19-year-old little sister to stop worrying.
"Oh come on Lucy, Peter. We really ought to try to catch this train. You know, since we are supposed to be going home on it," Edmund paused, "You just can't take a hint can you? Let me clarify, we need to go."
Peter and Lucy laughed as Edmund hurried them onto the train. "When did you start catching trains without almost missing them little brother?" Peter asked receiving a playfull swat from Edmund which he easily dodged. They boarded the train laughing and teasing and talking about the fun time they had enjoyed, talking about Narnia.
As they boarded the train that day none realized how it would change their lives forever.
