I don't own Naruto. If I did, it would actually make sense or something crazy like that. Maybe the main character might even have his name in the title.
New poll! Once I'm done with either Children of the Cloud or Demon Brothers of Konoha, I'll start on the next fic. You decide! Go to my profile and vote NOW!
Note: Um…shit…is it just me, or was chapter 504 a little bit anti-NaruHina? "Just try not to pick a weird one…" Kishimoto, go suck eggs. On a chicken farm. In Alaska.
? WTF?
(This oneshot is obviously highly influenced by Chapter 504)

The blonde haired man stood on his balcony and looked into the dark night. Clouds covered the stars and the moon, and even his trained shinobi eyes could not make out any shapes in the darkness.
"Heh, sorry mom." He mused. "I guess I didn't manage many of the things you asked of me. I was a picky eater; all I wanted to eat was ramen. I did eat a lot though, and I guess I turned out alright in height." He chuckled.
The wind blew softly through spiked hair. The man could almost imagine his mother's spirit was here with him, listening.
The amusement faded from his voice. "Didn't do too well in making friends. I had to kill my 'best friend', although in retrospect I guess he never even considered me a friend, or even a comrade, in the first place. Study ninjutsu? Eh, no one ever taught me any, never got allowed into the library either. I feel kinda bad about not listening to Iruka-sensei, though."
The man heard shuffling in the bedroom behind him. He ignored the sounds for now.
"And the three vices of shinobi…heh, you were right, I definitely shoulda stayed away from Ero-sennin. He got me so drunk when I was fourteen. Tried to get me laid, too, but I wanted my first time to be with someone I actually cared about. No one on this entire nation would even consider lending me money. And the last one…lets just say I failed your advice about women completely."
Small hands encircled his waste from behind as the man felt a woman hug him from behind.
His wife moaned his name, and the man shivered at the way she added the affectionate suffix '-kun' at the end. He could never deny her anything when she said his name like that, or when she gave him that special look of love and adulation. "Come back to b-bed, please. I'm cold…and l-lonely." She said with a blush.
The tall blonde man with spiky hair allowed his wife to lead him back inside, and he hung the red and white robes of his office on the post before snuggling back into bed with his beloved wife.
She's shy, dark, and kinda weird…but I'd never have her any other way. Sorry, mom, but this is the one piece of advice I think you're completely wrong about.
Review, pl0x. But really, don't review if you're going to ask whose POV it is or who his wife is. If you can't read context clues, go retake Middle School and get off the internet for at least 5 years.
By the way, I'm still hating on Kishimoto for destroying what could have been one of the best stories in the history of mankind.
