There were a lot of things to like about Wally.

One of them is his hair. His hair was a fiery red, that was just so... Wally. It was the first thing he noticed about him, when he came running into the cave in just a pair of red-and-yellow beach shorts. It stood out from his whole being and definitely complimented his whole personality. So full of burning passion for the whole superhero business.

Another thing was his really adorable freckles. It peppered his face, his shoulders, his back, and, her personal favourite, his chest. It made him look childish sometimes, but in a good way. Once, he let her trace his freckles on his back. She couldn't stop laughing when she realised it looked creepishly like Robin. She was just that good.

And then there was his toned physique. His legs, his arms and, god, his stomach. He wasn't the bulky kind of muscular and she was perfectly fine with that. It creeped her out anyway. Besides, his arms felt nice whenever they sat cuddling on the couch together.

There were a lot of things to like about Wally. What Artemis liked the most though, was his eyes.

His eyes were the most beautiful shade of green she had the pleasure of falling in love with. It captured her- captivated her. They were so bright and full of life at everything around him, so expressive and open with her, and so incredibly intense when he's on the battlefield. His looks told her everything. His pain, his exhaustion, his anger, and his happiness.

Rare were the times when Wally closed his mouth and communicated only through gestures and expressions. She loved those times. It made her feel special that only she could bring Kid Mouth to a speechless state.

Like now.

Artemis watched him, as he looked over the pregnancy kit she just took, two bright red lines across the small oval screen. He looked back up at her, the look in his eyes completely thrashing all the fear she had previously felt.

Surprise. Ecstasy. Love.

One look was all it took for Artemis to fall in love with him all over again.
