This is my first oneshot for Mad Dogs and Tigers.

The Kim Possible characters mentioned in this fanfic belong to Disney and created by Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley. I do not own the characters in any shape, form, or fashion.

I also do not own Charlie Bucket. He was created by Roald Dahl, who also wrote Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

As Josh Wendell Mankey was stirred awake, he turned his head and looked around at the endless rows of pine trees from Interstate 55, he was lost in his thoughts. He stared out into the clear late-November sky. The Mad Dogs were just a few miles north of Canton.

The third-string linebacker, musician, and artist of the team looked around the charter bus. He was in the rear charter bus where all of the defensive linemen, wideouts, and offensive linemen were being transferred from Middleton High School to the football powerhouse that is South Panola in Batesville, Mississippi. The 4 1/2 hour bus ride was really wearing him down. Wearing the Mad Dog jersey of number 94, he was the only linebacker in the bus.

He had heard bits and pieces of the Tigers' legendary running game, but the Mad Dogs were going to get their very first full taste of it in only a few hours.

Man, I hope that our linemen can hold down the Tigers,

Josh then looked at his cell phone: It was now 1:20. He gazed out on the entire third charter bus. The defensive linemen were well asleep. They needed that rest, for the Mad Dogs' defensive line needed to win in the trenches against the toughness of South Panola's offensive line.

So, he went to sleep as well.

He thought back to the time when Kim Possible had a crush on him. He exactly remembered the speechless drop-jawed look on Kim's face every time she caught sight on him. He remembered the first time that Kim danced with him at the Mad Dog Ball in his freshman year.

That magical night, he sighed, I'll never forget it.

Even though the dating side between the two weakened over the last few months, they still remained the best of friends. Both of them often helped tutor each other at the other's houses. This often ticked Ron off a couple of times. The clumsy sidekick of Kim often called Josh's last name "Monkey". He just simply laughed at this and they, too, became eventual friends as Ron and Josh both joined the football team.

He dozed off for the remainder of the trip.

3:05 pm.

He was enjoying some of the most memorable dreams until Charlie Bucket, the Mad Dogs' kicker, stirred him away.

"Josh, Josh, wake up!" Charlie exclaimed. "We're in Batesville!"

Josh slowly opened his eyes and, at that moment, he stared into the South Panola Tiger sign with all the state championships that the team had won in the past. He, like the rest of the Mad Dogs football team, finally reached Batesville.
