Anne gathered the coins from the counter with one hand as she pushed down on the beer tap with the other. The beer bubbled and frothed, slowly creeping up the glass. The bell attached to the door tinkled as it was pushed open, admitting a small, scrawny and robed figure. It's face was hidden in shadow and it's head hung in shame.
'A Gin and Tonic, please.' It mumbled in a gruff voice as it slid onto a stool in front of the bar. A few wisps of black hair protruded from the hood, dangling in the cold winter air.
Forget who you are
Live in the now
Believe it some how
Know what's to come
Some by some
Remember what you fear,
'2 pounds.' Anne said as she slid the glass across the counter. The man fumbled in his pocket, pulling out a few large gold coins before slipping them back. He eventually pulled out 2 pounds and handed it to Anne, who didn't move. She opened her mouth to say something, but then thought better of it.
No. she told herself firmly. I'm a muggle now. It's none of my business any more.
Part the Red Sea
Believe in me
Stay hidden away
Day by day
Remember what you fear,
She turned away to serve a new customer, flicking her brown hair over her shoulder. Her back was turned as the hood slid down off the head of it's owner. She slipped from behind the counter and cleaned away cups from a table. She deposited them into the washroom then turned back to the bar, snatching up a mug and cleaning cloth. She gasped, nearly dropping the mug. It was Harry. Harry Potter the Dark Lord. The one that had threatened to use her as a… a… it was just to horrible to think.
Keep away, do not play
with Harry, my dear
Remember what you fear
and never serve beer
Remember what you fear
Hermione, my dear.
