Edward and Jacob Finally Fight It Out

Chapter 1

Bella was sitting in the kitchen, studying, when Edward walked through the door.

"Hey, beautiful," he said and walked over and gave her a kiss on the forehead. Edward sat down and started staring at Bella.

"What are you doing?" she asked.

"Savoring your beauty just incase," he answered.

"Just incase of what?" Bella asked. Anything having to do with something happening to Edward made her shiver.

"Never mind."

"Seriously, what?" Bella asked again, angry now.

"If I tell you, you might get hurt, and I could never do that to you," he answered.

Bella stood up in frustration.

"Why does everything have to do with you not wanting me to get hurt?!" she yelled, "Why can't you just tell me? We love each other, Edward; we're supposed to tell each other everything."

"I love you, too, but this might seriously turn out badly. I was very irresponsible for agreeing to this," Edward said.

"Please?" Bella asked, begging.

"Fine," Edward agreed, his lips pursed together, "Jacob and I are going to fight over you."

"What do you mean? You technically already do that."

"I mean physically, like, whoever is hurt the most in the end wins," Edward said slowly.

"WHAT??!!!!????" Bella screamed so loud that the birds on the roof flew away, "How could you guys do this to me? Why would you ever agree to this? How could you? How could Jacob? Oh, Edward…"

"Bella, I only agreed to it at first to shut that dog up, but I think it might actually solve our problem."

"Violence doesn't solve anything, Edward!" Bella said.

"I know, I know. But, I don't know…"

"Do I have any say in this?" Bella asked gently and finally sat down.

"Yes, tell me who you want and it won't happen, I promise, I'm a big boy, I can handle it," Edward said.

"I want you, Edward. I'm in love with you," Bella answered and sat on his lap, facing him, with her legs around him, "You mean everything to me. I couldn't live without you."

Bella pressed her lips against his and passionately kissed, until suddenly, the door flew open and Jacob walked in.

"What is going on here?" he yelled.
