I hate it how people call Light Ratio, I know it's technically correct but Idc! I learned his name was Light, and that's how it's gunna stay. (Li) is Lights point of veiw and I think I'll only do (N) for Nami and (R) for Ryuzaki, or L. I'm not sure how much I'll use a large amout of time passing but just incase this is the symbol for that -.

(Li) I never knew Nami existed until I was in High School. All the kids kept talking about how cool she was and how she could hook you up with stuff... I never knew EXACTLY what they were talking about, but I had a pretty good idea of what it might be...

"Good to see you could make it to atleast one class, Ms. Shinkoy." Said my Math teacher taking a pink slip from the pale as porcelain hand of a gothic girl with brown hair that fadded to black with random and few black strips in her hair, her bottom lip peirced to the right, and deep but overwhelming blue eyes. She hurried herself to the back by a window, I noticed almost all the guys watching her go bye, most were smirking, she seemed nervous and a bit fidgety.

"Nami, right?" I asked turning to face her, she jumped a little as if she wasn't expecting anyone to talk to her.

"Yeah... Why?" her voice was soft and soothing. I hadn't expected her to sound so... Angel like, I thought she would have a scratchy voice, like that of a long time smoker.

"You're a lot different than I expected."

"Thanks? I think. Is that all you were going to say?"

"Maybe..." To be honest I didn't expect to say anything to her

"Well, if that's it..." She pulled out a spiral notebook and a pencil, and she began to write. 'She doesn't seem like the type of person to do what I've heard...' The bell rang, interupting my thoughts.

I walked outside and saw Nami leaning against an old Ford truck, she seemed to be staring at something as she bit her thumb. I looked a few feet infront of me and saw a black notebook, 'Is that what she's staring at?'. I walked over and picked it up, "Death Note?" I read and looked over at Nami to see if she was staring at that or if she was going to claim it, but I realized she was looking at the sky above the notebook almost as if she was waiting for something.

"Hey! Nami!" she looked startled as I walked over to her, "Is this yours?"

"No, and I don't know whose it is." She said simply as she opened the drivers side door.

"Wait," I grabbed her wrist and she winced before pulling away, "What were you looking at?" she was silent for a while as she stared into my eyes with such intensity, not of passion but of curiosity, that I almost had to look away.

"... Nothing... Even if I told you you wouldn't understand."

"How do you know?" she got in and closed the door.

"I can see it in your eyes..." she started it up and drove off.
