Warnings/Pairings:
Suggested [one-sided] boylove, one-sided Subaru/Kamui. Key word: ONE-SIDED xPWords:
Exactly five words over 250, excluding all technical stuff. =]Notes:
I've never written SxK before, it's a rather unexplored area for me, and I don't like it if it's not unrequited. So, another one-sided angsty romance thing. Enjoy.MORE NOTES! This has been revised. I realized as I reread my own fic that it sounded like it was from the point of view of Subaru? It's not ^ ^;; It's Kamui's point of view. I revised two words and hopefully it makes more sense now. Somehow I like leaving out the names, pronouns are more fun xP Anyway, yeah. Hope it makes sense now ^_^

He has so much to say to him, but he can not find his voice. It seems he's forgotten how to speak, the whispers of "why" echoing transiently in his mind.
He's tired of asking it, yet he feels compelled to. Why did he have to do this to him. Why didn't he love him. His heart aches for a response, but the moment he opens his mouth he becomes voiceless, memory wiped of the speech he'd memorized the night before. And then the cycle was repeated. Never ending, yet never beginning either.
He used to like to think of himself as unbreakable. He wishes it now, that he could be strong. He was telling himself petty lies before… he had already crumbled.
Yet it was his breaking down that brought him to perfection. To a bittersweet taste of blood and desire in his mouth, although he'd been too conscious and unconscious to attempt to decipher it at the time. His breakdown brought him closer to untouched emotions, uncovered wishes, unfamiliar feelings. It brought him to pain.
Torment had never tasted so tender. And so cold. A desperate sorrow swayed dangerously on the tip of his tongue, back and forth and back and forth…
"I'm so cold, Kamui."
He delighted in hearing that voice, the voice of his desire, the voice of perfection. It was an unspoken compensation for his own wordlessness. He, the epitome of perfection, spoke for them both.
He held Subaru in his arms and whispered silently.
"I know, Subaru. I know."
