Pairing: Draco x Hermione

Disclaimer: I know Jo Rowling; she doesn't know me! I don't own Taylor Swift either.

The Last Time.

I found myself at your door just like all those times before.

He was standing outside that same mahogany door again. After 2 years. She would have moved on, he thought. He ran a hand through his platinum hair.

Get a grip, he thought. What would she say? What would he say? Why had he left? What had happened?

Draco Malfoy took a deep breath, he had to do this, and he needed to do this. He would beg, grovel, he would stay this time. Draco gathered all the courage her had and knocked, almost hoping she wouldn't open the door.

But she did. Her eyes widened in recognition and shock. He came back.

But why? Hermione Granger stood out in merely a tank top and shorts with her hair tied up and an ice-cream tub in her hand. Her eyes puffy. He could sense that she had been crying, for him? For 2 years?

You wear your best apology but I was scared to watch you leave.

"Hi." He whispered.

"Hi." She replied.

He looked at her, she had changed since the last time he had seen her, but so had he.

"Is it really you?" she asked.

He ran a hand through his hair "Yeah. The last time I checked. Yes."

"YOU DISAPPEAR FOR 2 FUCKING YEARS AND THEN TRY TO BE A SMARTASS?" She shouts while pulling him by his coat.

He holds a laugh in. He knows that she still cares about him.

"Damn you! Draco Malfoy! You simply left!" she shouted again.

Draco sighed "I am -"

"Don't you dare say you are sorry! I waited! I am still waiting!" she cried hysterically. Her hair falling on her shoulders.

"Love. I know I can't justify what I've done. But I am here now." He said. His stormy grey eyes searching her brown ones. She looked at him with hooded eyes. She still loves him. But he left her, out of the blue, she lost her mind! And now he comes back!

Looking at him hurts too much, it reminds her of all the good times and all the better times that could have been. She tries to stay mad. She really does!

He sees her fighting a war inside; he hates to see her so conflicted. He hangs his head low. He had to leave, he had to save her. He could not see her die. He still loves her. She was his light. She was his everything.

People didn't talk that way anymore. Hermione looked at him again. She knew him. His hair, she had run her hands through them. His eyes, she had always lost herself in them. His lips, had kept her up for many nights. Draco lifted his eyes and his eyes met hers, they questioned him, stripped him of his false bravado, they saw the real Draco; they always had.

"You promise you won't leave?" she whispered.

"I promise I wont hurt you anymore." He replied.

"This is the last time I let you in my door." She said.

"The last time." He echoed.

The day of their wedding they talked.

"This is the last time I am asking you this. You are sure about this?" she mused.

"Crystal" he retorted with the Malfoy smirk in place.

"Then I do."

"I do too, Mrs. Malfoy."

A/N: Mushy right?! Tell me how you feel!

Xoxo
