"Three friends... very angry at each other... different accounts of what happened... three very different versions of the events... find out the truth... save their friendship..."

These words have been rolling around in my head for the past several days. I'm talking about the upcoming My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic episode, "P.P.O.V. (Pony Point of View)".

After reading all of the various episode descriptions online and watching the promo video this morning, I decided to write my thoughts on the subject.

What we know: something happened on a boat trip between Applejack, Rarity and Pinkie Pie and they are not speaking to one another. So much in fact that they sent their pets to Twilight [as message carriers] telling her, in their own unique ways, that they would not be coming to tea.

Instantly, I am reminded of the thirteenth episode of the first season of Batman: the Animated Series. It was called "P.O.V.", which again, stands for "point of view." And, like the upcoming MLP episode, there were three different versions of the same story: Harvey Bullock, Renee Montoya, and a rookie cop, Wilkes. After a failed bust, the three officers were put under investigation. Each of them offered up their own story on what really happened during their failure. Of course, the views conflict with one another and not only did Bullock LIE in his version of the story, but he was quick to blame Batman for his own mistakes.

So, here are my "educated guesses" how Applejack, Rarity and Pinkie Pie are going to tell their sides of the story:

Applejack is obviously going to tell the version that is the most truthful and has the most facts because, come on, she's the Element of Honesty! I am not trying to sound biased or be biased because she's my favorite of the Mane Six, but also because the Flimflam Brothers (a pair of con artists with a reputation for lying) themselves confirmed that she never lies. That being said, I am going to leave some room for doubt because even if AJ does tell the truth, it still raises the question of HOW MUCH of the truth she plans to tell, and what parts she may leave out.

Rarity is going to talk about the problems that occurred with several details blown out of proportion because she's the group's resident drama queen. And I'm sure there are going to be a few verbal jabs at the other two, but the majority of the blame for what happened is most likely going to be targeted at Applejack because even though they're friends, she and Rarity STILL have a history of arguing and butting heads with each other.

And Pinkie is going to spin a tale that will be wildly exuberant with a few facts sprinkled (pun not intended) here and there. And that's if she isn't really, REALLY angry at AJ and Rarity.

Again, these are just guesses. We'll see if I'm right.
