Konrad looked at his friend and laughed. "What would be the advantage to that? Yozak, I hate to tell you this, but you don't look anything like a woman."

Yozak grinned over the top of his ale. "That's exactly the advantage to it, my friend. How could someone who's obviously bad at disguise be a spy? If anything, they'll think I'm an idiot and who cares what an idiot hears? Who's going to believe him when he repeats it?"

"True, true…" Konrad murmured thoughtfully. He grinned. "So what did my brother say when you told him?"

"His left eyebrow twitched a few times and I was sure he was going to toss me out on my ass."

They laughed.

"But he agreed the idea had some merit. As an idiot I'll have free rein to travel just about anywhere. Besides, I won't always be dressing like a woman; there might be some places where it's better to be an old man."

"Yeah?"

"Yup! The way I see it, it'll not only be fun, but I'll get paid for it too." Yozak grinned broadly.

"You know what I think?"

"What?"

"I think we've both had too much ale for one night," Konrad said seriously, although his eyes danced with amusement.

Yozak shook his head, and calling the barmaid over, he paid for their drinks. They struggled to their feet and lurched out of the tavern into the cool night air.

"So you're really going to go through with that crazy idea of yours?" Konrad asked, pulling him from his reverie.

"Yup! And I have the female-chest-kun to prove it!" Yozak said smugly.

That stopped Konrad dead in his tracks. "What?!" he sputtered.

"Female-chest-kun," Yozak deadpanned.

"That's what I thought you said. How'd Anissina get mixed up in this?"

"She overheard me and your brother discussing it and volunteered to make it. So, do you want to see it?" When Konrad failed to answer, he quickly added, "Those babies are huge…" Yozak winked and his friend laughed.

"Why not?" As they continued walking home, Konrad asked, "I know I'm going to regret this, but what's the advantage in having," he chuckled, "big ones? Wouldn't they get in get in the way if you had to fight your way out of a situation?"

"As a man, you know as well as I do, the bigger they are the less likely we are to look at the pretty face that goes with them-"

"So I'd be less likely to notice at first that you're really a man?" Konrad finished for him.

"Exactly!"

"You've got an answer for everything, don't you?"

Yozak nodded. "Yup! Seriously, Konrad, I've thought it through and I think it'll work."

"I believe you. Just be careful, Yozak."

"Will do!" Besides, I kinda like the idea of dressing up, not that I could ever admit that to you.

"Well, good luck on your first mission."

"Thanks…"

"Don't mention it."

The two men fell into companionable silence as they made their home.
