"Sakura."

She whips around at the sound of his deep baritone, anger blazing in her green eyes. "Stay away from me, Sasuke! I don't want to hear it!" There are still flecks of blood on his face from his most recent mission.

"You moved out."

"Damn right I did!" She turns around and continues to walk across the training ground. As soon as she felt his chakra re-enter the village, she has immediately escaped from her apartment. He continues to follow her from a distance. "Get away from me, bastard!"

She throws a kunai at him with deadly precision. He plucks it from mid-air at the handle and tosses it to the ground.

"You know, it was easier when you were trying to kill me! At least then I knew where I stood!" She growls venomously, clenching her fists.

Suddenly, he has flash-stepped with his incredible speed to stand right in front of her, his eyes blazing red. "Don't ever say that."

She lunges at him, pulling her fist back and channeling chakra into it. He swats away her fist, but she follows it up with a roundhouse kick, forcing him back a few paces. Pulling a kunai from her pack, she presses at him, throwing her full power at the infuriating man in front of her.

"You kiss me," she punctuates each word with a fist, "You force me to move in with you," she forms chakra scalpels at her fingers, "And you continue," She lunges at him with a snarl, "To shut me out!" He grabs her wrist and twists it, forcing her to duck down.

"You spend half your life on missions, and you know what?" She wrenches away from him and stomps down on the ground, sending a fissure in the earth straight for him. "I don't miss you!" He leaps away, light on his feet.

"I don't miss you!" She repeats, hurling a boulder at him. "I don't miss the misery that comes with you!" Phantom fingers curl around her throat, and out of reflex she rubs at her neck. She can see his red eyes narrow in the darkness of the night from where he stands.

"I don't miss the way you hate me!" She screams. Leaping forward, she channels all the chakra she can muster into her fist. His hand finds its way around her wrist, and she finds herself staring straight into the red of his Sharingan.

"Stop lying to yourself." He murmurs. The muscles in her arms tense as she attempts to rip away from him. He grabs onto her other wrist and backs her into a tree. "Is this about last week?"

"This is about you, you asshole! All you do is take, and take, and take without giving anything!" She struggles against his grip, but he presses her harder into the tree, using his greater body weight to hold her. "You call me a distraction, you call me annoying, and yet you continue to kiss me!" She snarls into his arrogant face.

"I love you." His piercing gaze holds hers.

"You don't get to pull that! You don't get to say that and act like everything is okay!" She screams in frustration, beginning to lift a knee to catch him in the groin. He presses closer to her, every soft curve of her body melded into his well-muscled form.

"I'm sorry." He breathes into her ear, his grip on her wrists loosening. "I'll try." She slackens against him.

"You damn well better."
