The Pacifist Anarchist

A Documentary

Introduction

The Pacifist Anarchist, better known by his real name, Zachary D. Pamera, is one of the world's most well-known immitators of music that other people wrote. Surely, there is no one remembered for playing guitar music that was made by someone else than the actual player. From his early work in the short lived Mr. Lemonade, to his solo work as The Pacifist Anarchist, and to his new and current band "The Coffee Drinkers," Zac has immitated people who could actually write music for a long time.

Zac: You know, it really wasn't as if I had planned for this when I started playing guitar. How was I supposed to know that I would be playing songs others had written when I first started playing guitar? I just...guess I didn't know how easy it was to immitate the styles of other guitarists.

His career moved quickly, from band work, to solo work, and then back to band work.

Grace: Yeah, I was in both his bands. No there's nothing going on between us. No, really. ...okay, maybe there is...

He toured all over the US, playing with multiple small time bands and a few big time ones

Steven Tyler: ...no, I don't really remember the time that Joe Perry got a head cold and Zachary Pamera replaced him. ...no, Aerosmith doesn't even have a song in Rock Band 2. What? What fat stacks of cash? That's it, I'm leaving.

But drugs and partying would take their toll on the talented guitarist...

Zac: The fans...oh my God, the fans. So many of them, all trying to touch my scarf. I couldn't take it. I got like, 75,000 a song. What was I expected to do? Though I appreciate all of the support from them, it was the fans that drove me to drugs in the first place. Surprisingly, it was also them that drove me away from them.

And now Zac is once more playing music that he didn't write in a band called The Coffee Drinkers. He has proudly stated that it's some of "his" best work to date and that having consistancy in the band line up is one of the biggest reliefs of his career.

This iconic legend truly needs no further introduction, however,so we'll cut right to it. Who is the Pacifist Anarchist? Find out tonight, on RB1
