AUTHOR'S NOTE:

Hello! I have returned from Tartarus (also known as school) and am here to post a one-shot! PARTY. I am sorry for not posting in 1375989189248923 years. I hope you enjoy this. Thank you.

David Menlo was walking about the observatory when he saw the trash can filled to its brim. With curiosity, he hunched by it and started opening up each bit of paper available. With a smirk, he found a romantic poem, surprisingly written by his roommate, Max McDaniels. When he opened it, he read aloud:

Roses are red

Violets are blue

Beloved Scathach

I love you

I've been searching

For a rhyme with your name

But you're too perfect

So it's not my skills to blame

Beloved Scathach

You have my heart

Wait I just realized

What's your last name?

With that, David chortled away though it was queer that he didn't know Scathach's last name. However, he cogitated and opted to give Scathach the poem but remove the last stanza. Even though it wasn't Max's will, David thought it was really sweet (though Max isn't the mushy type.)and that his effort would be wasted if it wouldn't touch her heart. With that, David sent the letter to Scathach with Max as red as a tomato the following days.
