Contains some slight spoilers for Silent Hill 2. But not that it matters

much.

Disclaimer:If I did own Silent Hill, wouldn't this be a chapter in the

series already?

James Sunderland was scared.

Nothing new there. Ever since he got a letter from his supposedly

dead wife, Mary, who asked him to come to their 'special place'

in Silent Hill, he didn't know what to expect.

Oh sure, he did find that monster in the dark alleyway (he did beat

it up with his trusty pole, making sure it didn't even twitch after he

was done with it) and the entire town just seemed to go crazy after that.

Then there was that Pyramid Head, with its malformed pyramidic head,

but that wasn't enough to really frighten him even after the first time.

No, that was until he came face-to-face with this horrible monster.

Nothing in the world could prepare him for this... this... monstrosity,

this abomination of perverse nature. Everything in the fibre of his being

just told him to slay this horrible thing. Or to run away screaming like a

little girl. Whichever one came first.

His radio started to crackle with static. His heart starts to thump

erratically. He starts to look around frantically, looking to find it

before it finds him, his hands tightening around the rusty steel pipe

he had in his hands. The static of the radio starts to change into

something else and James starts to hyperventilate, his breathing irregular.

The radio is now starting to play a disturbingly happy tune, the tones

Contrasting with the drab landscape that is in front of him. James's eyes starts

to widen, his pupils shrinking in stark horror.

'Nonono! Not him! Anyone but him!'

The music went louder and louder while a footstep could be heard in the

distance. James gripped the steel pipe harder, his knuckles turning white.

Another footstep, and another, echoed through the hallway, making an

ominous and grotesque atmosphere. Then, suddenly, a voice from James's

deepest, darkest nightmares could be heard.

"I love you, you love me. We're one big happy family."

Barney the Purple Dinosaur has returned.

James screamed.

Author's Notes:

Probably clichéd, probably done already. It's just something that popped in my

head a long time ago and finding it recently, I just decided I should add it here

on Hope you had a random laugh. This is a modified version

I wrote a few months ago, so it contains a bit more descriptiveness than my

Previous one did.
