Bardan High

1 Day until Summer Break
Beca's POV
Beca Mitchell had considered herself a loner since, well, forever when it came to the social pyramid at Bardan High.
Not that it was such a big deal to her.
It wasn't that she was the socially awkward sophomore practically begging people to sign their names in their yearbook. On a side note, she reckoned the yearbooks of the year 2013 would soon end up missing, shoved into the back of the closet, or possibly become chewed to bits by a family pet sometime later this summer.
Well, speaking of lost and destroyed yearbooks, it would probably be no big deal for her to just go ahead and discard the entire yearbook right there and then. Besides, the only thing addressed to her in her yearbook was, well, from no one, a guy she didn't know who had grabbed her yearbook from her arms and signed it with a flourish. At that moment, she had given him one of her signature glares and then had just walked away without a second look back.
Yet, she still knew there was a reason, why Beca Mitchell spelled loner and why no one bothered to sign her yearbook (not that she gave a shit). For her, it just hurt too much to start relationships, even purely platonic ones, much less make them last.
Yeah, in retrospect, it was probably because she didn't give a shit, she finally concluded.
Author's Note:
Fellow aca-people of the Fan Fiction world: Please do drop a review for this rather short chapter. I promise the following ones will be much longer.
By the way, this is my first attempt at writing a FF so please be nice. (Please?)
If you have any ideas for the story please PM me, I would love to consider them as I start to formulate this story.
