There was a lull in the Total Drama Island competition. Beth of the Screaming Gophers decided a walk would alleviate the stress of the competition. Leaving her sneakers in her cabin, Beth took a walk down Camp Wawanakwa's shore. To her surprise, she saw one of the Killer Bass walking towards the shore from the opposite side of the island. His blonde hair was short and neatly combed, his eyes a calm blue. He wore a green coat closely buttoned over a black shirt, blue jeans, and green sneakers. When he noticed her, he smiled.

"Well, well, a Screamin' Gopher likes takin' calm walks along th' shore, eh?" he asked, his Irish accent making Beth feel tingly inside.

"Uh…yeah, this contest is really….stressing me out. I'm Beth, by the way."

"A beautiful name fer a beautiful lass. I'm Noah. 'Tis a pleasure." The young man kissed Beth's hand.

"Wait, so there were two Noahs on this show?" Beth asked.

"Aye. I always get cut from th' show t' avoid confusion. Even though I'm 100 times th' competitor th' other Noah was." Noah muttered.

"Not to mention 100 times cuter." Beth covered her mouth, a blush spreading across her cheeks. "Crap, I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have said that!"

Noah's smile didn't waver. "No need t' apologize, cailín gleoite. I think yer pretty cute meself." He stepped closer and looked into Beth's eyes.

Beth looked away. "Noah…..I like you, really, I do. But if Heather finds out….."

Noah's growled, his calm blue eyes now full of rage. "Heather…..th' charm setter still haunts me an' ensnares innocent bonnie lasses in her web of evil."

"What do you mean? How do you know Heather?" Beth asked.

"She used me as a boy toy t' make me brother jealous. Tha's th' main reason I'm here. Srew th' money. Heather's goin' down. Don't trust her, Beth. Trust me, she's bad news."

"Attention, campers! Please report to the Amphitheatre for your first challenge!" Chris McClain's voice blared over the loudspeaker.

Beth sighed. "Guess we're enemies again. Noah, I don't want this competition to get in the way…." Beth was cut off by Noah's lips brushing against her own.

"It won't, Beth. I promise. Just watch out fer Heather, ok?" With that, Noah ran back to find his team. Beth smiled and put her hand over her heart.

"Now that's Total Drama."
