The Forgotten

Introduction

If you were to return to the days of old; the days of the first Kings and Queens of Narnia that ruled over this diverse land, you would see that the sons of Adam and the daughters of Eve were very few and far off in numbers. Their blood line wold only continue if the men mated with the magical women known as nymphs, and if the ladies married the Gods of the woods and the rivers. The power granted to these creatures by the great lion, Aslan, thrived in the young world's air, and was ingrained into the new offspring of the rulers. A new being was then created through the throngs of passion, something beautiful like the nymphs, magical like the Gods of the surrounding woodlands and, from their human ancestors, these creatures received a range of emotions like no other. Yet they remained distant and… almost, untouchable.

These humanoids were the very essence of grace, beauty and logic. They harnessed the magic of the forests, living as a peaceful colony in the farthest regions of Narnia. There they would stay, with magical properties like non other, until the day the heavens would call them out to come to the aid of the other inhabitants of the vast country. In the past, these creatures, the Elves, remained a neutral force in all the wars that raged on the land, but a new threat, unknown to the country before, was coming and Aslan's plan would soon be in motion.

A/n: This is just a set up for a Peter/OC story. What do you think? Is making a new creature for the series a bad idea? Or good? Should I continue with the story? And yes. yes I am aware that this brings a new meaning to the word short.
