I don't own Twilight

A strange tapping sensation was occurring at my forehead. I groaned and swatted at my forehead. A low chuckle came from of above me. I opened my eyes in alarm and saw that my older brother, Luke, was looking down at me, grinning widely.

I glared at him. "Care to tell me what you're doing at - " I glanced at the clock "- Five A.M.? Came to annoy me early?" I asked. His grin grew wider and he replied, "We're going to sneak out, dear sister of mine." He laughed at my eager expression and I darted to my closet to grab clothes. "I'll leave you to get ready, meet me outside in ten. Oh, and Bree? Don't hurt yourself climbing down the tree." He joked, and disappeared out my door.

I climbed down the tree – carefully as Luke had told me – and met my brother at the bottom. We walked into the darkness of the allies near our house, Luke ignoring my protests. We spotted two people in the darkness of the ally, A red haired woman and a small girl, no older than nine. The small girl turned to me and smiled, beckoning me forward towards her. The older woman's eyes flashed as she glanced at me, quickly replaced by a friendly smile. Something strange was about the young girl; I couldn't resist the urge to obey her. I walked towards her, and when I was within reach of her, I reached out an arm and touched one of her small cheeks. Her skin was cold to the touch. I shivered, and looked to my side where Luke was, admiring the small girl just as I was. "Will you come play with me?" The small girl asked. I could do nothing but stare and nod. She smiled and took my hand in her small one, and Luke's in the other.

We were taken through the sewers and we walked so long that my legs were aching before we came to the stopping point. Sewer surrounding us, there was a small platform of cement. A chair sat in a corner, a teddy bear sitting in it. Headless Barbie dolls were scattered around along with many other broken toys. "Let's play." She murmured, and sat down on the floor. She took a beheaded Barbie and handed it to me. It didn't seem to bother her that they're headless.

"What is your name?" she asked after a bit. "I'm Bree." I said quietly. I looked for Luke. I hadn't really remembered seeing him. "Where's my brother?" I asked, feeling like I just woke up from a long sleep.

"Never mind that! You will not worry now. Play with me." And I slipped back to the ease of not caring. We continued to play with her dolls.

The older woman from before came in. "Felicity. It is time. Bring her."

"Bring me where?" I asked. "Do not worry." Felicity murmured, and stood up, brushing her dress off. "Let's go. I have a surprise."

I was taken to another platform with people lying on the ground, moaning in pain and agony. I cringed and turned to go back. "Please don't go, Bree." Felicity said quietly. I felt as if if I didn't stay, the world would end. I nodded and turned back around to face Felicity. "Why am I here?" I asked.

"Wouldn't you love to stay here with me forever? To play every day? I can make you like me, Bree. You can live forever, and stay pretty and young. We can be friends forever!" she exclaimed excitedly. "BREE!" I heard a scream. I saw Luke lying on the floor, writhing in agony.

"Bree, he'll be fine.. he agreed to play with me! You can be with us forever, it'll hurt for a little bit but then you'll be fine and you'll never die. Wouldn't that be perfect?" she questioned. "I'll stay, Felicity." I vowed. "Call me Fee." She said and moved towards me.

"Bree… in order for you to stay with me, I need to bite you. It won't hurt that bad. I promise." And I believed every word. I bent down on my knees. I closed my eyes and felt sharp pain on my wrists, neck, and arms. I cried out in pain and I heard Felicity say quietly, "Don't be such a crybaby.." and a door slam.

And then it went dark.
