A/N: I don't own Ghost Hunt... Sadly...

Mai stares abesently watching as Lin parked the SPR van. She felt someone sit beside her.

"Hey Mai-Lil-Sunshine" Oh she knew that voice

"Yasu have you even conisdered Lin being creepy enough to pull up beside someone and say Get in my van?"

"OMIGOD Mai! No you realise this!"

"It be a bit odd though wouldn't it? I mean I can just picture it one day. There's me walking to school nice and early and then BAM! Lin and Naru pull up in the van with nothing but a demand of Get in the van"

"And Naru would demand it too"

They laugh before heading in to the main office.

"We have a case go home and be ready by seven o'clock tonight. And Mai please no later than that" Naru smirks at the girl

Rolling her eyes she hurries out the door and to her apartment. She packed as fast as she could and decided to leave earlier than ever before so that way she could just waste time at the office. As she made her way down the block, the hairs on the back of her neck stood up. Something was creeping her up. Chosing to forget that feeling she continues on her way. But as she reaches the corner she can just make out the shape of a car. Ducking her head down she marches past

"Hey girl get in my van" A male voice rumbles from inside

Jumping she hastens her past but didn't make it very far before she heard the car door slam shut and a hand was placed over her mouth to prevent her from screaming.

"Yeah c'mon Mai get in our van"

Her eyes widen as she recognises the voice. He let her go releasing her mouth so that she could speak.

"N-Naru? Lin?'' she breathes

"Yes Mai we saw you leave your apartment" Lin answers

She breathes heavily before bursting into tears. Naru quickly wraps his arms around the girl, surprise evident on his features.

"Mai shh we're sorry we didn't mean to scare you so much" Naru mumbles into her hair

"God you guys are such jerks!"

Then she was giggling and getting into the van.

"So Lin I take it that you heard Yasu and I"

"Yeah I just couldn't resist" The older man chuckles a little before heading in the direction of the office.
