Ode to a Dragon
A splash of water, a gust of wind—
A fantastic white dragon emerges from the emerald bay.
His body curls and then unravels,
Like thick, rich velvet.
The sunlight is luminous and dances upon his glistening form.
He is the prince of the ocean, glorious and worthy of reverence.
Beneath the golden sun, on the pearly-white shore,
Stands the small figure of a young girl.
Her sweet face looks up in awe,
At the celestial beauty gliding majestically along the horizon.
She catches a glance of the dragon prince—
Affection resonates within her heart.
The sincerity of his gentleness and the strength of his will
Penetrate and fill her soul with happiness.
Steadily, colorful memories rise to the surface,
Like dazzling seashells being scooped up from the sands.
Beneath the golden sun, on the pearly-white shore,
Stands the beaming figure of a spirited girl.
Her shining eyes lovingly follow the dragon prince,
As he weaves in and out of the wispy ocean clouds.
Gradually, their gazes meet again
And their hearts beat harmoniously,
To the tender rhythm of their love.
