Annabeth's POV:

Why. Why didn't I just listen to him? Huh? "Why didn't you listen to him?" He heard me. Shit. I don't need to deal with this right now. "Because I didn't believe him simple as that." I said with as much confidence as I could manage. Which, imagine that, it wasn't a lot. Especially because of the abuse I've suffered in the past hour. I hate this. Why me, why me, why me. I asked myself over and over again. How can I get myself out of this. I looked down and saw that there was blood all over the front of my dress. Now shit just got serious. I made a low growling noise as he came closer and tried to put his lips on mine. I quickly shot up my foot and nailed him right between the legs with the heels I'm wearing or should I say the 'Death traps' I was wearing. He groaned in pain and fell to the ground. I quickly stood up and slammed the chair against the wall. The broke into pieces and I was finally free from the bonds that held my hands together. He had stood up and was trying to gain his balance when… *CRUNCH* you could hear his foot under my shoe breaking into a million pieces. He screamed in pain and fell to the ground. "you're gonna get it now bitch" He managed out and tried to smile. I ran to the door and pulled it open.

Percy's POV:

I was still listening as the girl that I loved took the guy and beat him to a pulp. Well shit. What now? I thought as the door slammed open and she ran right into me. "Wise girl?" I said questioning. She smiled and started crying. "No no no Wise girl don't cry please. You know it hurts me when you cry." She looked up and I noticed all the wounds on her face and her arms. I also noticed her limping and her other arm was wrapped around me. "What happened to you? What did he do to you?! I'll smash his face into the ground and kill him if he laid a finger on you!" I yelled and as I yelled and got louder I saw her wince and immediately calmed down and hugged her. I picked her up and ran outside. As quickly as I could I ran into the tiny apartment we shared, laid her down on our bed and ran and got the first aid kit. I wrapped up her right arm and left ankle in some wraps and gauze. Then I got out some hydrogen peroxide and dabbed it onto her swollen eye and bloody nose to get the blood cleaned off. Then I quickly grabbed some painkillers and had her take them. I helped her change into a pair of pajamas and tucked her into the bed and covered her up under the blankets. I gave her an affectionate kiss on the forehead and I was about to walk into the living room but I heard a small squeak. That was the first word, No that was the first noise I've heard from her since we got home. I turned around and walked over the bed. She had lost her voice and couldn't talk very loud. "What was that sweetie?" I asked calmly and quietly so I didn't scare her. "Please don't leave me" She pleaded in a little squeaky mouse like voice. "Never I would never dream of it." I replied gently. I changed and climbed into the bed with her. She turned towards me and cuddled into my chest. "I missed you so much Wise girl. I can't stand you getting hurt. I turned the whole world over tryign to find you" I said when she didn't respond I looked down and found her asleep. I smiled and laid my head down on the pillow next to hers. I couldn't protect her forever I knew that, but until the day I can't I will continue to protect her.
