Harry Potter was so sick of his dear friend Hermione Granger sulking over their traitorous friend, Ronald Weasley's, departure, leaving them in the forest because he couldn't deal with it anymore. Walking into the tent, the first thing he saw was the beautiful brunette he loved in more ways than just as a friend, curled up on the cot they had been sharing.

Settling in behind her, Harry wrapped his arms around her, "Mione, please, you can't keep being like this."

"He left us Harry," Hermione turned in the embrace and looked into the green eyes with her bloodshot chocolate ones, "How should I act?"

"I don't know but I do know that Ron's leaving isn't the end of the world," the wizard looked behind his friend, on the shelf, seeing the magical radio that was resting there, a plan forming, "Come on."

Hermione was stunned when she was suddenly on her, being pulled outside by her friend who was also carrying the radio, "What are you doing?"

The wizard sat the radio on a chair, turning it onto a channel that was playing slow songs, then gently wrapped his arms around his friend, "We're going to dance."

"But..."

Harry placed a finger over the rosy lips of the girl, and began moving her in circles.

LADY ANTEBELLUM-Just a kiss

~Lyin' here with you so close to me

It's hard to fight these feelings when it feels so hard to breathe

I'm caught up in this moment, caught up in your smile

I've never opened up to anyone

So hard to hold back when I'm holding you in my arms

We don't need to rush this, let's just take it slow~

The young pair twirled around the ground, underneath the moon and stars, their stress and worries lifting from their shoulders.

~Just a kiss on your lips in the moonlight

Just a touch of the fire burning so bright

And I don't want to miss this thing up

No, I don't want to push too far

Just a shot in the dark that you just might

Be the one I've been waiting for my whole life

So baby, I'm alright with just a kiss goodnight

I know that if we give this a little time

It'll only bring us closer to the love we wanna find

It's never felt so right, no, it's never felt so right~

As they danced Hermione looked into her friend's face, seeing the serene look that he wore, having only seen it a few times in the years that she had known him. To know that just dancing with her brought about this peace in him, the brunette smiled happily and rest her head onto his shoulder as they danced.

~Just a kiss on your lips in the moonlight

Just a touch of the fire burning so bright

And I don't want to miss this thing up

No, I don't want to push too far

Just a shot in the dark that you just might

Be the one I've been waiting for my whole life

So baby, I'm alright with just a kiss goodnight~

Slowly, the teens had gone from dancing to simply standing, looking at each other; the music playing in the background. It was like the song had brought the repressed feelings that they felt for the other back to the surface, making them recognise the emotions that were lingering there, ready to be grabbed.

~No, I don't want to say goodnight

I know it's time to leave

But you'll be in my dreams

Tonight, tonight, tonight

Just a kiss on your lips in the moonlight

Just a touch of the fire burning so bright

And I don't want to mess this thing up

I don't want to push too far

Just a shot in the dark that you just might

Be the one I've been waiting for my whole life

So baby, I'm alright

Oh, let's do this right with just a kiss goodnight

With a kiss goodnight, kiss goodnight~

With the last notes fading into the wind, and the moon shining on them, Harry and Hermione shared their first romantic kiss. Just one, filled with love and caring, but marking the beginning of a legendary love.

To them, it was more than just a kiss.
