I've got a new story. Yippee!
Nope. Don't own anything.
Hermione, Ginny
So I found somebody that you could take to the Ministry Ball.
Ginny, I told you that I don't need you to set me up with a date.
But he's hot and he's single.
That's what you always say.
But this time I promise on Ron's life that it's actually very very true.
No.
Please.
No.
Pretty please.
No.
Pretty please with a cherry on top.
Hermione?
Mione?
?
?
Are you gonna answer?
Mia?
Hermy?
If I say yes will you stop.
I solemnly swear.
Fine. I'll do it. Just stop interrupting my Doctor Who marathon.
YAYYY
Do you want me to come by your flat Saturday to help with hair and makeup? Do you have a dress yet?
Gin, I'm perfectly capable of doing my own hair and makeup but we both know you're gonna come anyway. And no I don't have a dress yet.
But it's only 6 days away.
Get dressed. We're going shopping.
Ginny no.
Ginny?
Gin?
Hermione sighed as her doorbell rang. Running her hands through her incredibly messy brown tresses, she set her unfinished ice-cream carton on the table and paused the television screen. She untangled herself from her mess of blankets and pillows on the sofa and made her way to the door with the slow dread of a convict on his way to the guillotine. Opening the dark blue door to her flat, she was greeted by her best friend.
"Hey Gin," Hermione greeted. "It's lovely to see you again." She opened the door wider allowing Ginny to walk into the living room.
"I told you to get dressed," she whined looking around the living room. "We have to get you a dress. And shoes and accessories. And oh! I have to tell you about your date-"
"Why don't you just wait here while make myself presentful to the world?" Hermione asked. Ginny gave her a small smile and nodded. A few moments later, Hermione had changed from her sweatpants and oversized t-shirt to a pair of floral skinny jeans and an ivory coloured sweater. "Better?" She asked slipping on a pair of navy blue converse.
"Loads." Ginny replied. "Now grab your stuff and let's go!" Hermione chuckled at her friends excitement and grabbed a small brown purse that had been gifted to her by Ginny at Christmas at the Burrow one year. The purse had an Undetectable Extension charm on it, much like the beaded purse that she had used on the hunt for Horcruxes with Ron and Harry. It was with this charm that she was able to slip her wand inside along with both muggle money and galleons, because frankly, she wasn't quite sure where they were going. Placing the rest of her things into her purse, she walked back to the living room were Ginny was waiting. "Ready?" Ginny asked glancing at her best friend.
Hermione nodded in reply. "Where are we going?" She asked tilting her head to the side.
"It's a surprise." Ginny replied in a sing-song voice. "Now come along now Granger. We've got dresses to look at."
I don't know how to continue this so I'll just leave it like that. And I'm kind of sorry (no, not really) about all the Doctor Who references (there are only like two if mentioning the TV show counts). There'll probably be more in the future because I really love that show. It's absolutely fantastic. See what I did there? Yeah. I should stop but I won't.
