Author's note: AU Finn hasn't died. Just a one-shot. Enjoy.
The moon was high and everything beneath it glowed gray. Nine hundred years of dreaming of this moment and it was finally here. Finn tightened his arm around Sage's waist pulling her closer into him. They were sitting on the bank of the lake absorbing every minute detail about the landscape in front of them. He buried his face in her curls and let the scent of wildflowers and whiskey transport him back to when he first met her. She was just as beautiful then as she was now. Her curls cascaded all the way down her back. She was independent and stubborn. Somehow she was always the one to get him to cut loose.
"I think I know what we should do," Sage said eagerly.
"What's that Love?" Finn responded, moving a hand to stroke her hair.
She looked up at him and sat up just enough to whisper into his ear, "We should go skinny dipping."
He froze and looked down at her in shock, "What? Here? Now? Are you out of your mind?" He was flabbergasted. Leave it to Sage to come up with something so outlandish.
She stood up quickly and pulled her camisole over her head. Finn studied her gentle curves and her breasts which were threatening to spill out from her black bra. She smirked at him and tossed it aside. She unbuttoned her jeans and his eyes followed their journey down her thighs. She kicked her jeans aside as well. She turned and walked toward the lake. Finn got to his feet still watching her. She unclasped her bra and tossed that aside. Finally before entering the water she slid her panties down revealing her toned, round ass. She waded in until the water until it reached her waist. She looked over her shoulder at Finn standing on the bank looking at her. She pouted.
"Your clothes are scattered all over the place Love. What if someone comes and sees us. You won't be able to get dressed quickly enough!" he called to her.
She shrugged, "That's half the fun darling, now hurry up. The water's fine." She winked and waded in a bit further.
Finn peeled off his clothes quickly and waded in after her. Within seconds he was standing right behind her with his arms around her waist.
She giggled and turned to face him. She put both hands on either side of his face, "You've been all over me all night. What's the deal. I thought you were the conservative one."
He leaned down and their lips met hungrily. He used the fingers on his right hand to draw circles on her ribcage. She pushed her body into him and he moved his hands up her sides and over her breasts. She gasped their kissing became even more feverish. Suddenly he stopped. He could hear someone blundering through the forest toward them. They exchanged glances and Sage pouted.
Finn evacuated the lake and collected his clothes. Sage followed quickly. There was something in the way he looked at her. There was extreme disappointment, obviously, but there was also light. There was a fire in his eyes that she had never seen
