Hello readers! How have you been? Haven't written in a while and thought I owed it to you to write you at least SOMETHING. Hope you enjoy!
Sophie awoke to howl's light snores as she did every morning. She sighed happily. Anyone else who
Woke up like this every day would eventually get bored of it, but to Sophie everything fell into a smooth rhythm. Sophie enjoyed the little things that stayed the same in the castle, because not much did. So, she was content with the moments that she could rely on to always stay the same.
Sophie looked up at howl's handsome face. His short blond hair had fallen over his face and Sophie reached up and brushed it softly behind his ear. Yes, these were the best moments. Slowly, Howl's eyelids slid open and he looked down at Sophie with a gentle smile. "Good morning love." Howl whispered, gazing at Sophie through stray locks of hair that had again fallen into his face. Sophie smiled. "Good morning." She breathed, mesmerized by his jade green eyes and the strong sent of lavender that radiated off him. He ran his long fingers through her soft red hair.
Sophie reluctantly rose from the bed and started dressing as Howl's smile fell."Can't you sleep in with me at least once Sophie?" He whined, rolling onto his stomach and pouting. Sophie huffed and rolled her eyes. "No." She shortly replied pretending to be angry. A smile seeped onto Sophie's lips. Howl smirked. "Why?" He asked, snickering. Sophie chuckled. "Because I actually DO things." She sneered emphasizing, the smirk evident on her face. Howl pretended to be hit in the chest. "You wound me, my dear Sophie." He dramatically declared. "Oh hush." Sophie whispered. Just then, Michael burst into the room. (I know in the book that Michael isn't a young child, but I thought that was cute so I put it in the fanfic) "Sophie! Sophie!" He chattered excitedly. Sophie laughed and bent down to Michael's level. "Yes Michael?" She said softly, smiling. (Sorry I really like comas -_-) "I'm hungry." He bluntly said. (I wanted to say said. Please put down the pitch forks.) Sophie blinked. "Um... I'll be downstairs in a minute." "Okay!" He chirped, back to normal. Michael ran down the stairs, thumping as he went.
