*David Mason's flashbacks after seeing the necklace always made me wonder if he had weird nightmares too. I'm sure Harper was there to help.

**I own nothing but the idea

Call him crazy but David Mason liked sleeping on the ship. He just wished his roommate didn't snore so loud. He often wondered (and secretly hoped) if Salazar and Crosby had a similar dilemma in their room across the hall.

They'd had an irritating mission during the day and Mason would've lied if he said he hadn't been completely drained after it. Harper had been injured during said mission too. It was a minor injury but it was definitely enough to keep him off the rest of it.

Harper had been sleeping peacefully, a mixture of sleepiness and pain medication overtaking his senses quickly. He was dreaming of a blonde he'd met on leave the weekend before.

Suddenly, Harper heard a muffled voice. His eyes shot open at the voice and he scanned the room. It was only him and Mason. He sat up and watched the sleeping commander toss and turn, a sheen of sweat showing on his forehead. He once again rested against the mattress and shut his eyes.

Harper heard the voice again, louder this time. Harper opened his eyes and looked to his right. Mason was still asleep. For a moment he thought he was going crazy until Mason thrashed around in his bed.

Harper shot off his mattress in time to catch the sweaty tangled mess about to hit the floor. Harper sighed as Mason opened his eyes and looked confused. Harper sat him down on the floor.

"Jesus, Section. Are you alright?" Harper asked

"I don't know. I fell." Mason's voice was shaky

Harper looked confused for a second. Mason dug the heel of his hand into his eye. He had a headache forming.

"Come on Section. Tell me." Harper said

"I'm fine. I honestly don't remember what it was about." Mason said

Harper didn't believe him but he decided not to press the issue any further. He studied his miserable friend a minute longer before helping him up. Mason sat on his bed while Harper retreated into their bathroom to get some aspirin and a glass of water.

Mason rubbed his temples in an attempt to soothe the drum that was pounding against his skull. Harper came back and handed Mason the pills and water.

"Thanks." Mason murmured

"No problem. You know what happened today wasn't your fault. It was a freak thing." Harper sat beside him

Mason nodded. Harper sensed that Mason seemed to relax slightly at his words even though he still seemed upset. Harper clapped him on the shoulder and stood up.

"I'm sorry I woke you up." Mason said

"I ain't mad. Just try to relax and go back to sleep. If you don't feel better tomorrow, I'm taking you to sickbay." Harper said

Mason just nodded and made himself comfortable again. Harper watched him for a while to see what was going to happen. When Mason started twitching again, Harper sighed. Yep, it was going to be a long night.

Sorry for the shortness. It's been a long ass day. Ah, the life of a medic. On top of that my eyeliner went bad and my eyes burn T_T
