Author's Note: I'm sorry but a drabble about Gale. Again. Don't own the Hunger Games.

The war that raged on outside the bunker in District 13 was often a distraction to Gale, reminding him that there didn't seem to be a God. If there were, then why would they even have to go through this in the first place? He didn't know where to place his faith, and he certainly wasn't about to doubt that there was a devil. He didn't trust Coin, but at the moment, he and her shared similar aims. The Capitol, the source of all the pain, was the devil, he was certain of it. It seemed impossible and it was the reason that so much destruction had happened in his life. The Capitol took away his father, after all. From a young age, having to support his family. All undeniable proof of a devil.

But if there was a devil, surely there had to be a God. And he knew exactly who it was. Because after all, he thought... "If there's one thing I believe in, I believe in her."

She'd never know.
