Diamond Day Dream: Worth it?
Disclaim: I don't own Diamond Day Dreams.
Note: One night after watching the first two episodes of the series, I walk up from a dead sleep, wrote this, and went back to sleep. I woke up the next morning like,"…Who wrote this? It looks like chicken starch!" (I really didn't remember writing it at all -_-III) So I balled it up and threw it away…or at least I thought I did, because I found 3 years later while I was moving!!! So I de-coded the chicken starch and typed it up.
It's in the POV of Mr. Kurata and how he feels about Atsuko as he's leaving. Its short but it's nice. Enjoy!!

I kissed her lightly on the head when I wanted to smash my lips to her virgin ones in a passionate kiss. I told her that I wanted her to find someone to make her happy but I wanted to be the only one to make her smile. I turned and said good-bye but I wanted to stay by her side forever. I did the things that would be best for her and what seemed right but I would regret never telling her the truth. Never telling her how much I loved her.
She seemed o.k. with it but as I boarded the boat I was being torn apart on the inside. She seemed to move on and forget. I stood still and remembered every moment we shared together. She found happiness and my music brought tears to my audience's eyes as it told my story of heartbreak and sorrow.
I constantly think about what if I hadn't left. What if? But it all seemed too impossible. I had given up everything in my life for my life for my true love, music, and I wasn't going to stop now. Sometimes I wondered; leaving my wife, never knowing my daughter, and now turning away my second chance at love, I still wonder…
Was it all worth it?
